One thing that is close to meditation and physical fitness is yoga. If you are a serious practitioner of this type of fitness routine, you’d probably notice the extension of its many benefits. It caters both external and internal element of our body and soul. Perhaps, you can never find a better integration of daily life routines, exercise and spiritual element other than yoga.

Yoga often mold together various body poses with proper breathing exercises with added mediation to give you a peace of mind, relieves stresses, physical and mental tensions and pushes you to broaden your horizon, virtually making and giving more room for you to breathe.   • contemplating
  • enlightenment
  • State of bliss, which will be the result in the use and development of the other seven.

Some researches stated that meditation that has been integrated with yoga will in time increase the matter of the brain’s cortex, thus supports the cognitive, emotional and sensory date of the brain. It will also slow down the rate of shrinkage of the frontal cortex due to aging.

There’s quite a number of health advantages through the practice of yoga. Aside from reducing mental and physical stress and tension, it is known to be able to decrease the risk of heart attack and lowering a person’s blood pressure. This is obvious, since less stress and tension consequent protects a person from hypertension and stroke. Other than that, it can improve concentration, clarity of thought, and release your creative side.
